ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT (CLOSED)

We are pleased to announce the following vacancy within the finance section

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with the chief accountant in preparation of financial statement projects and activities on a daily basis.
  • Assist the accountant in preparation of financial statement according to the policies.
  • Provide financial information for business analysis and auditing when needed.
  • Process payments and invoices accurately and timely as per the company procedures.
  • Verify financial statements account for errors and make appropriate corrections or refer to supervisor if errors are of complex nature .
  • Prepare reconcile and record payments.
  • Prepare management reports related to accounts payable and receivable.
  • Perform accounts reconciliations and ensure all ledges are closed as per the company’s laws and procedures.

SKILLS AND TRAINING.

  1. Part –qualified accountant with at least 3 years experience in a busy, hard business environment.
  2. Excellent it skills – with proven experience in excel and Microsoft packages.
  3. Strong analytic skills and keen attention to details.
  4. Self driven result oriented of proactive ability to work without supervision
  5. Bachelors degree from a recognized university is an added advantage
